Why language matters at a dental visit
Clear communication helps you describe symptoms, understand the examination and compare treatment options. When you call, tell the team which language you prefer and whether the appointment is for an adult or a child. During the visit, ask the dentist to explain the findings, alternatives, expected appointments, aftercare and estimate before you decide.
Clinical consultations are available in English and Korean. Our Japanese and Chinese implant pages are translated patient information; ask about language support before booking if you need another language.
Meet the dental team
General dentistry with a focus on cosmetic care, including in-office and take-home whitening consultations. Dr. Park also provides restorative care, root canal and gum treatment consultations, and urgent dental assessments.
Board-certified pediatric dentist caring for children and their growing smiles. Dr. Do discusses age-appropriate care and visit preparation with parents; see our pediatric guide for what to bring and questions to ask.
General and implant dentistry with U.S. and Korean dental licenses. Dr. Kim plans implant care using appropriate diagnostic records and coordinates with the in-house lab on restorations. Read his background and digital planning approach in our implant guide.

One dental home for different stages of life
Families may have different needs: a child’s first dental visit, an adult toothache, a missing tooth or a restoration that needs evaluation. Start with our dental services guide, explore pediatric dentistry, or review the Honolulu implant guide.
Care is individualized. Having several services at one location does not mean every treatment is appropriate for every patient or completed in one visit.
Restorative care and the in-house lab
Sungshim Dental’s dentists and in-house dental lab can coordinate the design, shade, fit and bite of appropriate restorations. Digital scanning and milling support this workflow. Ask how the process applies to a crown, bridge or implant restoration in your case.
What Sungshim means to our community
Our name comes from 誠心, meaning a sincere heart. Sungshim is the Korean reading of those characters and reflects our commitment to treating patients with sincerity and care.
Our team participated in free dental consultations at Hawaii’s K Festival. See our community activity and photographs and the related YTN broadcast.
